Oral Surgeon
Dr. Stephen Chan, DDS, MD earned his dental and medical degrees from the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he developed a strong foundation in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He holds a Certificate of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialization and maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). Dr. Chan's clinical expertise includes wisdom tooth extractions, bone grafting, sinus lifts, dental implants, and permanent full-smile rehabilitation. He is committed to delivering predictable dental excellence through advanced technology and top-quality materials always with patient safety and empathy at the forefront of care. His philosophy centers on quality outcomes and compassionate care. He believes one's dental journey is equally as important as the destination. By combining compassion with authenticity, he endeavors to create emotional security during periods of uncertainty while improving the oral health of all his patients. Dr. Chan is a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, a Member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Fellow of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He was also honored as a 2025 Dentist of the Year Nominee by the Texas Academy of General Dentistry. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling and trying new foods, and he admits ice cream and chocolate cake are always top favorites.
