Dr. Wood is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who earned his DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina, graduating third in his class of 71. He completed his surgical residency at the Medical College of Virginia, where he served as chief resident and received additional anesthesia training. A Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, he has practiced in South Carolina since 2018 and previously owned his own surgical practice. Dr. Wood also volunteers his time providing dental care at the North Charleston Free Dental Clinic.
Outside of work, he enjoys scuba diving, fishing, and boating.
