Dr. Barbosa graduated magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine, and received his Combined Prosthodontics and Maxillofacial Prosthetics Degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He was an Assistant Professor at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, and the Module Director for the Introduction to Dental Implants and Clinical Implantology. He was also the Director and Assistant Professor for Preclinical and Clinical Implant Prosthodontics.
Dr. Barbosa was born in a small town in Puerto Rico, raised with a large family and close-knit community. Today, dentistry allows Dr. Barbosa, to continue his passion for serving others by delivering quality dental care through the use of his hands. He takes the phrase, “you’re in good hands” to heart and enjoys the gift of seeing patients regain the desire and joy to smile. Aside from dentistry, Dr. Barbosa prioritizes religion, family and friends, and enjoys spending time with his wife, Tina and son, Fidel.
