This post is by Greg Rockwood, not my wife Suk HuI just completed the install of my permanent teeth and I would like to compliment the entire team at Clear Choice Dental Implant Center. Every team member was happy to do their part in the process. The first two weeks as you would expect is the hardest part. I was given an emergency phone number. Unfortunately my stitches came loose and when I made it known, I came into the office and was scheduled for surgery the next day. When I thanked them for their quick response, I was told to not worry about calling, that is what they are there for. Don't hesitate to call. When you come into the office, the receptionists greet you by name and notifies the staff you are there. Normally, within a few minutes you are called into the office. The first two weeks are the hardest since your teeth have been pulled and the gums are swollen. As the gums heal the swelling goes down and the temporary teeth are adjusted to fit your mouth. As they say, every day gets better and soon you will transition from blended food to food you can chew. Adjustments to your bite continue and soon you are eating normal again. The temporary teeth initially are foreign but you get used to them. By the time you get the permanent teeth you have adjusted to the new teeth. The biggest thing you should know is you are getting excellent care with the whole time. Everyone is so responsive to your care during the whole process and you get the down home feeling from the team caring for you. You will have some pain/discomfort but you have the best team taking care of you, so don't worry. Soon you will get a new set of teeth!
