Today could have easily been overwhelming for us, but the team at ClearChoice in San Mateo turned it into something I’ll always be grateful for. We had an appointment scheduled that, unfortunately, had been canceled without us realizing. It took nearly two hours to get my father ready and transported, as he’s been largely bedbound following recent hospitalizations and is still working to rebuild his strength. When we arrived and learned about the cancellation, I was bracing for disappointment. But instead of turning us away, the staff immediately shifted into problem-solving mode. Without hesitation—and without even knowing the full extent of our situation—they made the decision to fit him in anyway, despite being short-staffed. That alone meant so much. My father truly needed this appointment, especially given how critical oral hygiene is for someone who is immunocompromised and has struggled to keep up with care during his recovery. What stood out even more was the compassion every single staff member showed. From the front desk to the techs to the doctor, everyone treated my father with patience, dignity, and genuine kindness. They didn’t rush him, didn’t make him feel like just another appointment, and most importantly, they met him where he is—confusion and all. With dementia, even simple situations can feel overwhelming, but they created a calm, reassuring environment that helped him feel safe. A special thank you to Andres, the technician who worked with my dad. He was an absolute rockstar—efficient, kind, and completely unphased by the challenges of the day. Despite being short on staff, there wasn’t a single complaint—just a team working together seamlessly to provide the best care possible. They also took the time to work with me on a realistic plan to help maintain my father’s implant hygiene moving forward, understanding the limitations we’re facing. That level of partnership and care is something you simply can’t teach—it comes from a place of genuine compassion. If you are at all interested in implants or have an elderly loved one, who is looking for dental implant care, I cannot recommend ClearChoice enough. They don’t just provide dental care—they provide humanity, patience, and respect. They understand life's journey and the variety of adversity that can come with significant health needs or cognitive deline. What they did for my dad today was truly priceless.

Clear Choice Daly City is a great Dental Implant Center. Employees and staff in this center are very courteous, patient and welcoming to my needs. They are very professional in dealing with me and the outcome of my dental work especially Dr. Parisa Shahi, who I think is the sweetest doctor I ever met.
