Dr. Reena Varghese is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist who received her Master of Science in Higher Education and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2002 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Oral Biology and she was awarded with a certificate in prosthodontics in 2005, both from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
In addition to being a key member of the team at ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in Philadelphia, Dr. Varghese has been an associate prosthodontist in private practice since 2006. She has also served on the faculty at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, New Jersey as an Assistant Professor teaching clinical and laboratory courses in fixed (crown and bridge), removable (dentures) and implant prosthodontics. She was Course Director of Esthetic Dentistry and Occlusion and taught postgraduate residents training to become future Prosthodontists. Dr. Varghese is a recognized lecturer and presenter on the topics of esthetic dentistry, dental implants, full mouth reconstruction and digital dentistry including CAD/CAM technology. Her passion for teaching has reached hundreds of students and she was honored to have received the Excellence in Teaching Award.
Dr. Varghese is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and Fellow of the Northeastern Gnathological Society. She served as past President of the New Jersey Section of the American College of Prosthodontists, past President – Elect of the National Dental Honor Society (Omicron Kappa Upsilon) at Rutgers and she served on the Executive Board of the Northeastern Gnathological Society as Committee Chair of the Scholarship for Excellence in Dental Research.
