Dr. Lyudmila Shiminova received her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology from Queens College, City University of New York in 2011. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2015, graduating in the top ten percent of her class.
Dr. Shimonova completed general practice residency at Maimonides Medical Center where she discovered her passion for oral surgery. She went on to complete Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Shimonova has been a member of American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Shimonova is also bilingual, fluent in both English and Russian.
