Passionate about developing customized solutions, Dr. Fernandez Lozada works with each patient to identify their unique dental goals and help them achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.
Dr. Fernandez was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela where she received her Doctor in Dental Surgery degree from the Universidad Santa Maria in 2015 . Then she moved to Connecticut where she completed a two-year Advance Education in General Dentistry Residency program in 2020. Following that, she moved to Chicago to earn her specialty in Prosthodontics and Master of Dental Sciences degrees at University of Illinois at Chicago during the summer of 2023.
Dr. Fernandez loves giving back to the community, the reason why she has volunteered in some organizations providing oral care to those in need. In her home country she worked with ALAS Aviacion para la Salud in the south Venezuelan jungle treating native communities in need of oral care. In the United States she volunteered at the Department of Developmental services in Connecticut as well as Advocate Medical Center in Chicago treating special needs patients.
Her husband, and her dental residency sweetheart, is also a Prosthodontist. In their free time, they enjoy going to the beach, traveling, discovering new culinary options and spending quality time with their dog, family and friends.
Dr. Fernandez is fluent in both English and Spanish.
