Dr. Lisa Hoang graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. In 2008, she earned her Doctorate degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and was the recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship (2004-2008). Following graduation, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
For two years, she practiced as a general dentist in Florida. To pursue her passion of providing dental care to patients with complex dental problems, Dr. Lisa embarked on a 3 years residency training in Prosthodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry, where she also earned her Master of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Lisa loves teaching and she served as a part-time faculty member at Marquette University School of Dentistry for two years. Also, she was the recipient of the Award of Excellence for a Clinical Poster Presentation (2014, The American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics) and Tylman Research Award, bestowed by the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics (Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics). She enjoys working with patients and developing treatment plans and has been a member of the American College of Prosthodontists.
Dr. Lisa is fluent in English and Vietnamese, and in her spare time, she loves to spend quality time with her husband and two girls exploring the outdoors, playing in the pool and cooking together.
