Dr. Amit Prabhakar Chavan received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Government Dental College and Hospital in Aurangabad, India in 2009. He earned his Master of Dental Surgery – Prosthodontics degree from CSMSS Dental College and Hospital in Aurangabad, India in 2015. After completing his MDS degree, Dr. Chavan earned a Master of Science in Dentistry degree as well as a Certificate in Prosthodontics from Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2021.
A key member of ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in Cincinnati, Dr. Chavan has experience handling a wide range of complex restorative procedures, including composite restorations, removable and fixed partial dentures, veneers, implant prosthodontics, and full-mouth rehabilitations. Combining his extensive knowledge and skills, Dr. Chavan develops customized treatment plans for each patient’s individual needs and goals. Dr. Chavan was a dental educator serving as Assistant Professor in India and Graduate Teaching assistant at The Ohio State University. He has been a speaker at various dental conferences and has published articles in the national and international journals.
Dr. Chavan is fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi. Dr. Chavan has been awarded “Prosthodontist of the year” award by Indian Health Professionals awards. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and the Academy of Osseointegration and the American Dental Association. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with his wife and son.
