No dental treatment will be performed until a full in-person tactile and visual examination has occurred.
There are potential risks associated with the use of technology, including sharing information during online education sessions or other similar events. These risks include, but may not be limited to the following: in rare cases, the practice staff may determine that the connection is of inadequate quality, thus necessitating a face-to-face meeting with you, or at least a rescheduled education session; delays in medical information can occur due to deficiencies or failures of the equipment; all vendors used by the practice in providing technology are required to comply with the requirements of HIPAA, however, in very rare instances, security protocols could fail, causing a breach of the privacy of personal medical information.
