Dr. Jeffrey Oyama received a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology from the University of California, San Diego. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and his certificates in advanced prosthodontics and maxillofacial prosthetics from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry.
In addition to being a key member of the team at ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in San Diego, Dr. Oyama has been a clinical instructor at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry. At the same school, he also spent time as the Chief Resident of the Postgraduate Advanced Prosthodontics program. In 2012, he earned the Thomas Hatzeson Outstanding General Practice Resident (GPR) Award for his contributions to the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey, California.
Dr. Oyama is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, and member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and California Dental Association (CDA). Dr. Oyama is also a clinical attending for the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center where he collaborates with GPR residents in the care of special needs patients and treats head and neck cancer patients. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the beach, trying out new restaurants in the San Diego area, and photography.
