Dr. Herrera earned her DDS, Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, from the Universidad Nacional, in Bogota, Colombia in 2003.
While following her passion for learning and thriving for excellence, Dr. Herrera relocated to the United States and earned her DMD, Doctor of medical dentistry, from Nova Southeastern University in Florida 2013.
After practicing General dentistry in Florida, Dr Herrera decided to further her education and entered the University of Illinois at Chicago to obtain her certification in Prosthodontics in 2018.
Dr. Herrera loves teaching and served as an associate professor at Augusta university Dental College of Georgia.
Dr. Herrera has been a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Herrera enjoys treating complex cases and helping patients feel comfortable and confident with their new smiles.
