Dr. Adam Ostrand graduated from University of Minnesota Moorhead with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and biotechnology. He continued on to Creighton University where he received his D.D.S. in 2016. During his time at Creighton he participated in volunteer events such as the One World Clinic and teaching in the sophomore prosthodontic lab. Upon graduating he was presented with the Hanau “Best of the Best” in Prosthodontics award, the Your Smile Our Specialty Award and the One World Leadership Certificate. Dr. Ostrand then completed a three-year Prosthodontic program at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2019.
Dr. Ostrand grew up moving around the world as his mother was active duty in the United States Air Force. He learned about many different cultures and ways of life, and uses these experiences to better understand his patients. Dr. Ostrand takes pride in doing his absolute best and treating patients like family to help achieve their oral healthcare goals.
In addition to being a key member of the team at ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in Birmingham, Dr. Ostrand is a part of various professional affiliations including the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society. When he is not in the office treating patients he enjoys spending time with his wife Dr. Koennecke and dog Piper, hiking, running, woodworking and most recently started flying.
