Steven Caldroney

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Steven Caldroney is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from York College of Pennsylvania before completing his DDS at New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry in 2003. Dr. Caldroney went on to serve in the United States Air Force with the 52nd Dental Squadron at Spangdahlem Air Force Base in Germany and as Chief of Dental Services with the 105th Airlift Wing at Stewart Air National Guard Base in New York as a Major. He went on to obtain his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialty Certificate from NYU/Bellevue Hospital as well as his MD from the NYU School of Medicine.

In addition to being a key member of the team at ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in Framingham, Dr. Caldroney has been an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Manhattan VA Harbor Health Care System and a Clinical Associate Professor at the NYU College of Dentistry. After a fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Dr. Caldroney moved to Boston where he was an attending Surgeon at Boston Medical Center in Head and Neck Oncology/Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery as well as an attending oral and maxillofacial surgeon at the Boston University School Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Caldroney has published several articles and is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He and his family have been on many dental outreach trips giving back to underserved communities in Jamaica. In his free time, he enjoys relaxing with his family and watching his two sons from the sidelines of a lacrosse field.
