Position Summary:

As a Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting with ClearChoice, you are responsible for financial reporting and overseeing technical accounting research related to new and proposed accounting standards.  This role also supports and assists with the implementation, maintenance and review of internal controls and corporate policies and procedures.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Assists in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Ensures compliance with GAAP and eventual IFRS principals and regulations
  • Coordinates, directs, plans and executes the financial reporting component of the external audit.
  • Leads all financial research efforts. Analyzes, researches and concludes on new and proposed accounting, reporting and disclosure standards issued by the SEC, FASB and eventual IFRS and prepare memorandums regarding the Company’s position and impact on the Company.
  • Writes, implements and ensures effective and practical implementation of corporate policies. 
  • Liaison with center financial reporting department, finance department, internal legal department, and external independent auditors
  • Reviews journal entries and reconciliations in order to report and identify variances for financial reporting.
  • Must meet tight deadlines and work independently, but also support the entire team.
  • All other duties and special projects as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA, active license required
  • Strong and extensive knowledge of US GAAP
  • 3-5+ years work experience in top-tier public accounting or a financial reporting role for a publicly held company.
  • Working knowledge Accounting/ERP systems, NetSuite experience a plus.
  • Able to identify issues and bring to resolution.
  • Ability to stay knowledgeable about, research and reach well-reasoned conclusions on technical accounting issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to compose effective and efficient accounting reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in multi-unit, multi-entity, complex organizations is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to work in an office environment at both his/her own and others’ desks/offices  

Required daily to walk the floor and be available to help wherever needed

Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
