Summary

As ClearChoice continues to grow, we need to ensure that all of our employees have the learning and development support they need, in a way that is easy to access, ready when needed, and is scalable for our growth.  We need to accelerate our ability to deliver learning solutions in a variety of ways such as e-learning, webinars, and asynchronous forums in addition to the instructor lead programs we currently offer.

The E-learning Writer/Designer will work with subject matter experts and source materials to create compelling training materials for both instructor-led and online courses. Strong storytelling, problem-solving, organizational and collaboration skills will be crucial to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Consult with subject matter experts to:

  • Perform front end assessments to identify training needs and learner outcomes
  • Create end to end (design, develop, deliver) e-learning solutions
  • Develop training materials (PPTs, video clips, animations, job aids, etc.)
  • Build end of course assessments and evaluate effectiveness of programs as needed
  • Update training materials as needed
  • Upload and ready e-learning modules to ClearChoice LMS for consumption by learners
  • Assist with registration, tracking, and reporting of e-learning offerings

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Degree in instructional design, instructional writing, training and development or comparable experience in lieu of degree
  • Professional experience in applying instructional design methodology (ADDIE), particularly in e-learning
  • Ability to perform appropriate analyses to determine the most suitable learning solution
  • Demonstrated self-initiative to design and develop e-learning including learner guides, facilitator guides, storyboards, PowerPoints, job aids, and e-learning modules/courses
  • Previous experience with administering learning management systems and web delivery tools
  • Solid research skills
  • Advanced computer/technology literacy
  • Strong client consulting and presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to shifting deadlines and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills working directly with a wide range of subject matter experts
  • Proficient with Google suite
  • Superior writing, editing, and layout skills for e-learning materials
  • Training process definition and documentation
  • Experience with LMS system, Storyline, Captivate, or similar e-learning design systems
