Neil Hagen, DDS

Oral Surgeon (Chicago)

Dr. Hagen graduated from the Dental School at Northwestern University in 1977. He served his residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was Chief Resident for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 1980-81.

Dr. Hagen is licensed in Illinois for General Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Sedation and General Anesthesia, and Controlled Substances.

Dr. Hagen has appointments at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Children’s Memorial Hospital, and is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Surgery, Division of Dental Surgery, Northwestern University Medical School. Dr. Hagen is a member of the ADA, CDS, AAOMS, CSOMS and AO. He has vast experience, which has had him in high demand to lecture on Implant Dentistry since the early 1990s. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and has certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Patrick J. Pierre, DDS, DFMP

Restorative Dentist (Chicago)

Dr. Pierre graduated from the Dental School at the University of Paris, France in 1970. He worked in private practice for a few years and taught at the School of Dentistry in Paris. He attended the Fixed Periodontal Prosthesis Postgraduate Program at the University of Illinois, where he received his Specialty Certificate in Fixed Prosthodontics in 1976. He then attended the Periodontics Postgraduate Program at the University of Illinois where he received his Specialty Certificate in Periodontics in 1977.

He was appointed Assistant Professor and taught undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Illinois, where he became the Director of the periodontal Prosthesis Postgraduate Program. In this position he trained dentists to treat patients with complex and complicated dental conditions. He also taught at Northwestern University Dental School in the Department of Biomaterials. Dr. Pierre has been practicing Adult Reconstructive, Restorative, Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry in private practice since 1983.

He was a consultant for the Army, the Air Force and the Marines. Dr. Pierre has lectured in the U.S., Canada and Europe. He was elected by his peers to be included in the list of The Best Dentists in America in 2004-2005.

Donald E. Romsa, DDS

Oral Surgeon (Chicago)

Dr. Romsa received his dental degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1975. His residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was at Northwestern University Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 1979-1980.

Dr. Romsa has been in private practice in both Wisconsin and Illinois and was Clinical Assistant Professor at Northwestern University Medical Center for 16 years.

Dr. Romsa accepted the 1,000 Points of Light Award from President George H.W. Bush on behalf of the Healthcare Network of Racine in 1992 and received the Community Outreach Award from the Wisconsin Dental Association in 1996. Dr. Romsa also served in the United States Army, receiving the Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service.

Kevin P. Ryan, DDS

General Dentist (Naperville)

Dr. Ryan graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1988 as a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society, the ADA, CDS and Academy of Osseointegration. He completed a General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Division of Graduate Medical Education in 1989. He practiced general dentistry as an Attending Medical Staff member at Northwestern Memorial Hospital from 1989 until 1999. Dr. Ryan currently maintains a general dentistry practice with emphasis on dental implant care at his office in Naperville, Illinois.

Robert Galliani, DDS

Oral Surgeon (Northbrook/Deerfield)

Dr. Robert Galliani received his BS from Loyola University and his DDS from Loyola School of Dentistry. He spent seven years on active duty in the U.S. Navy and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in periodontics from the University of California School of Dentistry. He has taken numerous continuing education courses on cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry.

Dr. Galliani is a member of the ADA, the Chicago Dental Society, the Seattle Study Clubs and was formerly a board member of Gateway. He was also named one of the top dentists in the Chicago area by Consumer Checkbook Magazine.
