For referring dentists
ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers provide comprehensive treatment and care services to dental implant patients across the U.S. While most patients come directly to ClearChoice for their treatment services as a result of our advertising, ClearChoice also works with referring dentists to provide specific implant related services required by their patients.
Here are the most frequently asked questions by local dentists about ClearChoice.
What is ClearChoice?
ClearChoice is a full service dental implant treatment center where experienced specialists deliver a wide spectrum of dental implant treatment services, all at the highest standard of care. Treatment is delivered using a team approach, including oral surgeons to place the implants, prosthodontists to replace the teeth, and master lab technicians to manufacturer the prostheses. We have an on-site dental implant laboratory, as well as on-site 3D CAT Scan imaging services, to deliver high quality care that is also convenient for the patient.
How will ClearChoice affect my practice?
When a ClearChoice Dental Implant Center opens, overall consumer awareness of dental implants rises, along with implant demand. This is due to the significant advertising we do in the market. You may expect your patients to ask more questions about dental implants, creating an opportunity for you to grow your practice.
What services does ClearChoice provide?
ClearChoice focuses only on dental implant treatment services, including single, multiple, and full arch implant cases. ClearChoice has particular expertise in immediate function procedures, such as the All-on-4 procedure for replacing a full arch of missing teeth. ClearChoice performs more full arch implant procedures than any other implant dentist or group in the U.S.
What clinical research is there to support the procedures used at ClearChoice?
The All-on-4 procedure is the culmination of the pioneering research and work of many well-known dentists and implant professionals from around the world. More information on the research supporting the All-on-4.
ClearChoice has performed more All-on-4 procedures than any other individual or group in the U.S., and has experienced success rates on implants in the 96% plus range. For those few implants that have failed, ClearChoice specialists have been able to replace them, achieving a 100% success ratio with the prostheses.
Have ClearChoice clinicians published any papers or research related to the implant dentistry performed in the ClearChoice centers?
Drs. Ole Jensen and Mark Adams have had multiple papers related to advances in the All-on-4 technique published in the Journal of oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including:
The Maxillary M-4: A Technical and Biomechanical Note for All-on-4 Management of Severe Maxillary Atrophy
All on 4 Treatment of the Highly Atrophic Mandible with the Mandibular V-4
Does ClearChoice provide dental treatment services other than dental implants?
ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers do not perform routine dental procedures unless they are directly related to an implant treatment case. If patients need standard dental work (such as cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, periodontal work, etc.) we refer them to other qualified dentists or specialists. ClearChoice does, however, perform additional dental work that may be necessary in handling an implant case in order to provide a complete dental solution to the patient.
Does ClearChoice deliver quality care to its patients?
Absolutely! ClearChoice doctors are experienced specialists practicing at the highest standard of implant care. With few exceptions, oral surgeons place all implants and prosthodontists replace all teeth at ClearChoice. The ClearChoice specialists practice in a state-of-the-art facility, including advanced 3D CAT Scan imaging equipment and an on-site lab staffed by master lab technicians.
Does ClearChoice refer patients to other dental professionals?
Yes. As ClearChoice focuses solely on dental implant treatment services, patients that need other non-implant related treatment services are referred to periodontists, general dentists, and other prosthodontists.
What if I want to refer a patient to ClearChoice?
Your patient will be treated as they would in a normal restorative dentist/specialist relationship. We will coordinate restorative care with your office. If you wish, a provisional prosthesis will be provided by our prosthodontist. The patient will then return to your office for final restorative and continuing dental care.
Are fees comparable to those in the community?
Yes. ClearChoice fees are similar to those of other private practitioners for comparable services. However, full arch replacements performed by ClearChoice are provided at lower costs to the patients due to the efficiencies of the all-in-one centers, the Immediate Function protocols, and the integrated treatment approach used by ClearChoice.
Will patients be monitored after treatment?
Patients will be on routine follow-up every six months and monitored for their prosthodontic needs, hygiene and overall oral health. For their convenience, we refer our patients to qualified general dentists or periodontists in their area for routine cleanings and follow-up care. We work closely with these dentists to be sure the patients receive the care they need. Patients can also return to any ClearChoice center for any adjustments, repairs, or follow-up care they may need.
Is ClearChoice owned by an implant company?
No. Each ClearChoice Center around the country is owned and operated by local specialists, many of which are well published in the implant scientific literature. No dental implant company, nor any other manufacturer, has any ownership whatsoever in ClearChoice.
Will ClearChoice provide continuing education seminars?
Yes. Many ClearChoice doctors are well published, and are well known in the implant dentistry lecture circuit. Each center plans to host periodic seminars regarding dental implant treatment and care, inviting local general dentists and specialists to participate. We will also be compiling data from all of our national facilities for retrospective and prospective studies for publication.
